And I'm slolwy healing. Thanks to the efforts of my friends and business associates, I am building my kit from the the beginning. This time, the products are bigger, badder, and of a higher quality. I don't mind starting over, especially when I'm getting quality products and full support from those who enjoy my work and my person. Never underestimate the power of genuine work. People see that, and want to be apart of it or better yet, help you to get better. I'm glad I have those people on my team and I promise to not let any of your contributions go to waste!!
Thank you so much for all you've done, are doing, and are attempting to do. It's greatly appreciated and I'm grateful for it :D.

Friday night, a tragedy occurred. Someone broke into my boyfriends car and stole ALL of my makeup. Three years of building, gone in a flash. Broken car window, broken dreams. I cried all night and I'm still crying. It hit me in the heart and it's still hurting because this is my career we're talking about. Makeup is my lively hood. It's what I do for fun, for fashion, for work. The fact that someone would take that away from me without worry and without care does something to me internally that I can't explain. But, thanks to friends and others who've enjoyed my work, I get to start over from the bottom up! I'm hopeful, hurt but hopeful.
This is just a speed bump! Something you feel them, like now. And sometimes, the bumps are so minute that you hardly pay them any attention, but I've learned that it's the hard ones, the ones that break you, that build you up. If you want to help make contributions, there's a donate button on the sidebar. Any amount helps, if you can't donate money, that's fine. I still appreciate all the love and support you all give me. Thank you for listening. I've been wanting to try this brand out for a while. I've finally gotten the chance, though there are only three products in my arsenal, they are very good products so I'm not disappointed at all.
There's a four day processing period, so I should get my package by, Wednesday or Thursday of next week...maybe. Pictures and a possible video review will be had :D
On another note, Coastal Scents followed me today on twitter!! I was so happy!! :D I'm horrible on camera though lol. I stammer, I swear, and I'm just over all awkward!! I have my Nikon D3100 willing and ready, I guess I could do it...I'm just so horrible lol. I'll make a sample video just to show you all that I'm not lying. Wait for it, it'll have to be later on today, or maybe tomorrow, but when it's posted, don't judge me!!
This is from my trial session in February with Arekah The Goddess Photography. I passed with flying colors :D I transitioned the model (Danielle) from cute and spunky to dark and seductive. :D Enjoy! ![]() Cute neutral eyes with pink playful lips. Eyeshadow used? Urban Decay eyeshadows in Sin, Polyester Bride M-A-C eyeshadows in Romp and Black Tied Lipstick: NYX's Hot Pink lip liner with M-A-C Viva Glam in Nicki with clear gloss from Wet N' WIld. ![]() Same look with more eyeliner underneath the eye using Urban Decay's eyeliner in Perversion and a smudge brush to drag it out to create an under smokey cat liner effect. I do think it was very successful. Also, on the lips is NYX's Black Label Lipstick in Vamp. Your kit, believe it or not, is a representative of you. It's in your best interest to pick QUALITY items over bulk ones. Now, that doesn't mean that bulk items can't be quality, not saying that. What I am saying is that you need to know what it is you are purchasing and not just take it at face value. I'll expand more on the topic later, but I had to get this particular thought out of my head first.
Thanks to Kathleen "KStar" Starita, I'm not a published artist. I did the cover for a local magazine titled "La Onda" and I got the opportunity to meet and pow wow with local artists The Glo! I was fantastic and overall a good work environment. I'm so thankful as I know this is just the beginning!
